Asos Men AW 2016, an artistic project

Asos is mixing fashion and art for its  Menswear AW 2016 and we are glad to see how those two fields always match!
Asos called upon 5 illustrators from five different countries : Patch Keyes/ Grande Bretagne, Samuel Eckert/ France, Christopher Delorenzo/ USA, Nick Thomm / Australie and Tape Over/ Allemagne, to work on the collection lookbook. Taking inspiration from the trends themselves, they were asked to give their own interpretations on the clothes using their drawing skills and create an orignal and artistic image of the different looks.
Patch Keyes- UK
The brand is willing to give young talented artists the opportunity to express themselves through fashion and this project is an excellent way to promote both the 5 illustrators and also Asos global offering in the fashion business.
Nick Thomm- Australia
Samuel Eckert- France Christopher Delorenzo - USA
Tape Over - Germany
The collection takes its inspirations from various trends which also influence the final artwork. A strong military spirit designed through a palette of kaki, rust and stone, with shapes inspired by Japanese tailoring and an 90’s retro touch from England. In other words an interesting and creative collaboration!
