Lanvin Menswear Spring/Summer 2014

Lanvin was dark and rockerish this season. Alber Elbaz, the famous name behind the French fashion house as well as his associate for the menswear line Lucas Ossendrijver, chose a dark and minimalistic vision for Spring/Summer 2014.
Sophistication is at the center of the Lanvin Homme collection : pure lines, asymmetries and sharp silhouettes make the most part of it. Edgy and elegant, the Lanvin man can adopt a very classical attitude and sport tuxedos and suits but he also embraces his more rebellious side and pulls off biker leather jackets and wife beaters.
His look is demure; colors are dark mostly navy blue, black, hues of grey contrasted by rare tints of white and reds. For his shoes he can be either very conservative and wear leather shoes or more laidback and choose leather sandals worn with socks (take that, Céline!).
Skinny ties, skinny suits all called for skinny models, in this case, the casting included : Dominik Hahn, Laurie Harding, Miles Langford, Robbie Sedgwick, Shane Gambill and Gryphon O’Shea among others.
