Last Days of Christian Louboutin Exhibition

The Design Museum is currently hosting one of the hottest exhibitions of this summer, a retrospective of shoe designer Christian Louboutin’s work.
In very boudoiresque surroundings are gathered some of the most jaw-dropping shoes a woman could ever dream of. The dream of any shoe-lover, most women in fact, come true. The exhibition spans 20 years of Christian Louboutin’s career, with pieces ranging from the first collection – including already the mythic red sole – to the latest one.
A special room called “Fetish” has been added to the exhibition, showcasing  undoubtedly unwearable yet highly erotic shoes in a dungeonesque atmosphere, alongside sensual black and white photographs of naked models wearing them.
Another highlight is the fantastic hologram show featuring Dita von Teese in a breathtaking stripping number, morphing from then back to a glitter stiletto.
The exhibition ends on 9th July, so that’s basically just a week left to take this magical and glamorous ride away from rainy reality.
